10th May 2013 - Ellesmere to Baddiley locks, Ravensmoor

We set ourselves the target of getting to Grindley Brook locks.  We were a bit miffed when two boats pulled out in front of us, travelling very slowly.  However they soon pulled in to allow us passed which was very nice of them - two American families travelling together.

We pushed on and actually made Grindley flight by 1.30pm and it took 1.5 hours for us to get down the flight.  Just caught the Chandlers at Wrenbury before they close to buy some stove blacking (I buy my wife real presents!).  Got through the three locks at Baddiley and moored up immediately beyond.
