A visit today from my Aunt & Uncle and their Great-Grand Nephew and Niece, Guy and Robyn (9 & 6) who they are looking after for the day. They came over on the ferry and we met them at the Pierhead. All came over to the boat for tea and cakes before we went into town to find a McDonalds for lunch. What a terrible place to eat! but the children loved it. Saw them off onto the ferry - phew! Poor Aunt and Uncle they will be worn out by the time Guy and Robyn get handed back.
The wind has got up and it has gone cold so lit a fire - but this is June!
These are the voyages of Ken, Annie and dog Peggy. As we cruise we will try and keep the blog up-to-date - internet access permitting of course. Ceilidh is a 54ft cruiser style narrowboat. It was built by J Pinder Ltd for Black Prince hire boats in 1995.
